Very unlucky to miss out but maybe better for us in the long run.
Hopefully injury free run after the world cup, what more of an incentive to go on and prove doubters he is good enough.
If he keeps his standards up for the rest of the season keeping head below the the radar of other clubs to the benefit to the Swans.
If he is good enough his time will come, sooner than later I think. | | | |

No it doesn't but then again are there others who have played a number of games for Wales and maybe should have been chosen instead, given you really shouldn't be going to the World Cup without almost all your squad having had time in qualifiers unless someone has broke late into a high position club and can justify their selection.

Well,that’s the point, have a read of the article. It explained it well.
The two midfielders who are named as back up and who travel as replacements are below.
Two youngsters one England u20 international one 17 with five mins of football all season and one with 33 mins. It stinks.

Nor me but iI take as a blessing . a month off and raring to go to after what can only be seen as a snub,. How much playing time has Colwill had for example , I appreciate maybe and its is maybe stay loyal to the players that got Wales to the finals but pick your best and in form players | |

Not a good read, didn't think he'd be named as its come a bit soon for him, but to not be named as a backup is baffling especially when you look at the credentials of the 2 lads that have been. If RM had used him sooner then he'd probably have been involved in the recent internationals. Seems to be a bit of a war of words going on at the moment between RP and RM which is never good. |  | | |

I don't think they are being taken as back up, I may be wrong but what I heard from Page on the radio its more for experience over anything else.
As stated in another thread, I think it's to keep the both players on side.....both are quite highly rated and have pledged sllegiance to Wales so both could easily decide to represent another country. I don't think it's right myself but unfortunately football doesn't really work in ways that make sense most of the time. |  |

But are the two back up midfielder the ones who would actually have to be used as a replacement for player injured out of the world Cup squad. That may seem a dull question but hey ho.
A bit like Fulton holding onto the ball at the penalty taking off the pressure the actual penalty taker Piroe .
If they are actually in the registered World Cup squad then my mistake for asking the question.
