Yep. Recent world events have proved once and for all self sufficiency in vital things like food and energy is of the utmost importance. We even had the french threatening to turn off the power to the Channel Islands and they are supposed to be our friends. |  |

It was only a temp stop for maintenance, which is normal in the industry.They still lost thousands of tons of gas into the ocean. I'm not sure if it was repaired or not, i haven't seen an update. The issue went quiet when it was suspected the SBS were behind it.Sweden knew who did it, but they haven't disclosed it yet. If Russia had then it would have been all over the media. I amazed that in todays world of technology that scrubbers cant seem to be improved on , they were installed at Aberthaw coal fired power station to extend its life for a period .flue gas desulphurisation and low sulphur fuels has helped to reduce emissions but at the moment thats not enough to satisfy current legislation | |
