Player who run down contracts do not change. Manning was running down his deal at QPR. Swansea have let a lot of players end their contracts mostly ones they wanted off the books in any case on account of wages after relegation.
Swansea can sell or simply keep playing him if he is professional enough. He runs the risk of an ill timed ACL and recovering on his own with no income after June.
Changes will be needed in the Summer so this will free up some slots. |  |

Look at it another way. Is Latibeaudiere of the opinion, why sign another contract to play in a position I am not really comfortable with, am I better off trying my luck elsewhere. Then with Manning is it a fair offer compared to others, he has played well for a while and if fit normally starts. Is it greedy players or other reasons. |  | | |

He may find a club willing to pay him 18k a week, but that type of club ( Sheffield United as an example ) will soon drop him to obscurity if he doesn’t perform.

I think its a bit unfair to judge Lati given that he has hardly played in his true position for us.
A player who is a central defender and performed there at International level has spent the majority of his game time here playing mostly as an attacking wing back perhaps had he been played consistently in his "proper" position folks may have a different opinion on his level of ability.
Just imagine in all our working lives if our manager put us into a role that we were not used to having always done Im sure our performances would be below par | |

If it were my choice I'd drop them both now, I'd play Oko-Flex as a proper winger one side and see if I could offload both of them in January and bring a loanee winger in, or bring Whitts and Joseph back which may put pressure on the strikers to perform too. | |
