He gets some stick on here but I think he’s an honest player who seems to like playing here and isn’t mad keen to sod off elsewhere.

It may well be, but we need to approach the events consistently.
If they all celebrate/show togetherness then it shows how much behind the manager they are according to some, well the opposite must be true then if they don’t, otherwise the original observation is lacking any basis.
Same goes for praising the manager when players play well… but then blaming the players when they play poorly. If the former must be down to the manager then so must the latter.
Consistency is one of my biggest bug bears when it comes to football and things are made to fit with confirmation bias as opposed to reality. | |

It’s seems you have missed the point of the post. Not a shock.
If players being together means they are behind Martin, when they don’t appear happy does that mean they aren’t then?
Or is it nonsense whenever we see the “proof of how much they are behind the manager” stuff?
I can’t work out why it doesn’t mean the opposite… if the former was truly believed in the first place of course. | |
