Met him at a sportsman's night in Hereford a few years ago. Lovely bloke. RIP, hope he gets buried in that coat.
Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

RIP, a true gent and football encyclopaedia. I saw him at a Swans game once some years ago, he had a large book with him, leather bound, well thumbed, and it had the last few years of written facts, stats and info on the Swans.
He had a unique self written book on every club and on every game he broadcasted on.
Spent a good ten minutes chatting to him, he was in no way eager to get away just very appreciative of his life in football and meeting people.
RIP.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.
Yes he had a massive passion for the game and that shone through in his voice. You don’t get commentators like that these days. Half of them are only there because they tick some sort of diversity box and the other half seem bored out of their minds like they’d rather be anywhere else.
Think he’s the last of the generation of commentators that actually cared.
