I recall a man from Bristol being 'eliminated ' about 5 years ago at a roundabout after a car chase I believe a shoot first ask questions later approach ( with sufficient intelligence) is valid in the UK where citizens and most Police are unarmed. The intelligence was wrong with the Brazilian in the tube station but correct with the criminal in Tottenham that led to the riots a decade or so ago. Activists from certain communities argued the man shot in Tottenham did not threaten the police and his gun was under his car seat and had not time to access it before being shot dead. I accept that if I am carrying a hand gun with intent to use it and the UK police know about it I am susceptible to being taken out by a trained Police marksman. I will not be given the opportunity to use the weapon first. This is in my opinion correct. Certain English Urban communities need to be aware of this. Complaining of discrimination afterwards and civil disorder are not appropriate if you know the rules in advance as it applied to all citizens. [Post edited 7 May 2023 13:46]

Exactly. If the answer is more guns how many do they need before everyone is safe? | | | |
