I would not be surprised if Martin moves elsewhere this Summer.
He defended Winter and Marsh in February post January transfer window and if they go then he is unlikely to hang around. | | | |

What rewards?
We have some very good individuals, a good squad but we aren’t playing as a team.
Whoever comes in needs to be playing a similar style or we gat the Monk situation … completely remodel, destroy our individuality, bore us rigid, prepare the inevitable flop.
I would see his departure more like Roberto going. We'll lose our goals and the next manager will forced to deal with a very leaky defence despite having a very good back line.

So it should be Sousa we should give credit to for promotion to the PL not Brendan?
Look I have probably been Martin's biggest critic I find the "new Brendan Rodgers" quote amusing for a manager who in 4 seasons hants even threatened the playoffs let alone achieved promotion
We have had a good finish to the season and much comment on the 21 points from 24 yet had he not been so stubborn and learnt from last year we could have done so much better.....since switching to 4 at the back and using width more our football is better and more successful shame he hadnt switched sooner.
It is all about opinions if he does go I'm sure if his successor brings promotion or better league position it will be due to Russ....even if we lose Manning etc...
If Russ should still be here next season the excuses must stop he will be in his 5th season as a manager there are other managers with the same or less time in post who have achieved more than he yet here he us defended as being a rookie...but after awaiting 2 seasons here next season he must deliver .....after all all his ardent supporters have been telling us next season will be the one!
In the meanwhile it will be interesting to see how this develops.... | |

Not at all Vetch.
You can't take away that Sousa instilled a solid defensive system and that was perfect for Rodgers to come in and tweek.
I think a new manager coming in if Martin moved on would be happy, a young capable squad who are very good at receiving and passing the ball......sort the defence out and in time they could see some success.
It's a good discussion this but ultimately it could just be press talk or agent leaking.
I think our concern as fans is what those higher than our manager(who ever that will be) are planning this summer. | |

I think Sousa and the role he played in Swansea’s promotion is not given the credit/acknowledgment it deserves. He added defensive steel and organisation to the team and laid a good foundation for BR. He wasn’t far off a play off place himself. | | | |
