They are crazy in their support angry.
I know the north east quite well and they are as big a club as Newcastle . They were traditionally bigger .
Loyal doesn’t come close
The Roker roar was not a phrase of fiction

Not many man United or Liverpool plc fans there either

Over the last five years mist young people seem to be loyal to their own local clubs. Swansea is an example. It’s nowhere near as it was.

That’s good to read
Sunderland draws in all of Co Durham and south of the Wear until you get to Teeside area .

Blame the manager, threw away loads of points.

Change the record, a lot of other managers must have thrown points away going by your post

What about the points we won late on?

I can off the top of my head think of 5 games where we won points either late on or from a comeback, wba away and home, the scum away, watford away and Coventry away, some people funnily enough forget those games, they just bang on about points lost.

let's blame the owners....there is a collective responsibility but at the end of the day the manager picks the team and tactics and this good finish to the season shows that actually we didnt need players in the last window.....and had Martin been less stubborn then we may not have endured that crap run we had for so long.

It seems maybe Russ is learning finally and the owners lack of bottle in sacking him during that run is paying off.....

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I wouldn’t have said we stuffed them at home, it was 2 - 1 and there was far too much of that tiki take nonsense. Maybe if we hadn’t played it around the back 4 continuously we could have stuffed them but as it was they had chances to get back in the game. That said, I’m astounded they are top 6.

This. We were hanging on at 2-1 at home and won away against 10 men. Perspective.

Apart from Burnley, every other game has been winnable.
Same can be said for opposition against us as well.
All in all could have finished higher but given us a good platform to build on

We didn’t stuff them at home, in fact we hung on to just about edge it. Beat them well up their place but they were down to 10 men for a large part of the game.

They were one of the better sides that came to play football at our ground. In fact they were probably the 4th best after Burnley, Sheff U & ‘ Boro
