We know we won’t hear about the manager until after Martin has officially left. Martin or Soton could still turn round and exit the transfer. Any speculation from the club could be hugely embarrassing.
Until we know who the new manager is or until a new manager might not be imminent plans will on hold.
We have been told who is leaving and Naughton has signed a new contract. Again, any comment from the club on players leaving or coming in would be speculative and possibly embarrassing. Also, the new team, if there is one, will certainly want to see the squad before suggesting the moves they would like.
Maybe the ridiculous level of response to his ramble has taught him to be quiet until he has something definite to say.

The CEO or Chairman could easily have notified the fans of the new sponsorship with Owen Transport and Joma but left that to the media department. I thought he reaction a very inert tweet was close t hysterical by the fans.
The media told the world Marsh was likely to be sacked. This was probably never the case. Remember Marsh is in his early thirties younger than some of the players.
Work is n progress and something will be announced when it is ready to be announced. I do not see how fans can judge the Chairman. it is about perception. Birch was great but Winter not so apparently. They both met up with fans.
Birch made a howler by handing the "family" club's players and facilities over to advertise a Marxist anti police, US activist group, that promotes communal living over the man and wife and kids model. . Valid in US urban ghettos where drugs, gun violence runaway fathers and inequality rule but perhaps but not valid in sunny Swansea. |  |

Myself and the board are currently working tirelessly to resolve these issues in the best interests of the club as quickly as possible in order to be ready for the exciting new season.
The club will keep the same philosophy and assisted by recent new investment we intent to construct a strong group of management, coaching and playing staff.

Swansea fans and perhaps fan in general seem to have a need to be mollycoddled. To be told how great they are etc.
Swansea fans were given the great privilege of being owners. That simply did not work out that well as they did not accept the concept that other owners might want to cash in their chips and do something else at some point. | |
