Obviously automatic promotion matters the most. The question should be what would supporters find acceptable. For me it would be in and around the top six all season and finishing there. Anything less is not progress for me.

I think so much emphasis was put on beating Cardiff we all lost focus of the bigger picture. We reached the play offs two years in a row before Billy 🂠shite Martin was here believe in the system crap. I am optimistic we are gonna be an outside bet at auto promotion. Minimum top 6 or the season is a failure. I think Duffers is such a winner he will see it that way aswell.
Now Russ has gone I wonder what will be the next thing that divides us all?

Players divide us always have always will. The manager is just a distraction.

Mid to 7th or 6th will do me, be a difficult league this coming season, Leeds will be power full, Leicester as well, Middlesborough, Sunderland, WBA, Watford and Coventry look as if they are gonna try and push on from last seasons good work.

The odds are less with the bookies for us to go down than to go up. They rate as middling Personally I think we should be top six then go up in the final

It looks like we are losing a few of our top players, a lot will depend on how their replacements will perform. It could go either way. We need to give the new manager and players some time, it will be an interesting season.

Emphasis on beating Cardiff? . Isn't that what's being a jack is all about?
Yes I get that we want to get back to the PL but let's face facts, we are not a big club
Let's enjoy the ride and not look back.

I love smashing Cardiff more than anything in the world , but the last two years have been disappointing. Curve ball here lose and draw with Cardiff and promotion Or beat Cardiff twice and 13th place. The dobe double has blinded us. Cardiff are gonna be league 1 or 2 in the next ten years . In 2030 we will be playing Wrexham as the Welsh derby . I live around Cardiff scum. I'm no glory hunter I've supported the swans since we had Roger Freestone in goal. While Cardiff were signed the first 1m transfer under Sam hammam. We have been setting the bar way 2 low we need top 6 min.
As for bookies odds wait till the transfer window is over . Long shot we still have piroe , Plymouths Morgan shows up. We are Plymouth of last season boom back to the prem baby !
Anything less than top 6 will be a big let down after all the changes.
Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

I would gladly accept losing 5-0 to Cardiff in both games if it meant automatic promotion for us.
Martin got away with murder because he beat Cardiff every time. The other winnable games we drew or mostly lost were worth the same amount of points.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

It is always glorious to beat your nearest rival. Problem is that is two matches over a whole season so objectively ,not that important . I’m with Winston here, again.

Do you think we could go a whole season without having digs at each other . I will make a wager with the proceeds going to Keith’s charity.
I wouldn’t take it all too seriously, I’m off up to the care home this morning to visit my poor sister, it puts our little squabbles into some perspective.

I have a sister back home with whom I have fallen out with, big time. Reading you having a loving relationship with yours is very poignant . Both my parents ended up on Care Homes which weren’t good. My wife s mother is in one now
I’ve said before you re a good man and I know this situation is painful.
Not playing suicidal football and leaving a viable forward line once we are ahead so not inviting continous pressure from the opposition, I want to see our ground become somewhere we don't give gifts away.

We were fortunate last season, this one, we need a miracle. Tough looking league
Cardiff are gonna struggle up untill Christmas then splash the cash to stay up. If Robinson gets injured you have had it mate. Bet it hurts seeing all the other clubs signing players. How do you rate our business in the window?

Mid-table. Lets not underestimate the strength of this division.
Let's not overestimate it either.
Most of the clubs that were in the division when we could win five games out of twenty six and still almost make the playoffs remain in it.
