Not for me Keith.
Pretty enthralling and a hard game to play well.
As a kid in Dunvant Park ,we pretended to be Rosewall,Laver!Emerson,Stole ,Santana even Pancho Gonzalez . Public Court too.
Jimmy Mac and Brian Hughes played there .
Great days

Serious question excuse the pun but do you think Johnny Mc is a better pundit than player, I think he has been brilliant at both and it's hard to choose.

A few years ago and I was in the queue and he was being interviewed no more than 10 feet away from me on the green it was incredible to watch. He was switching from one broadcaster to another seamlessly. His PA just told him the name of the broadcaster and he was in full flow tweaking his answers to suit the broadcasters nationality. Absolutely brilliant.

Tiger Tim sums up English tennis. Loser.

Murray is/was different gravy.

As a regular player...only doubles these days. It's an amazing game to play. I'm not the best watcher but do enjoy the odd game.

Tim Henman was an excellent player but not a Grand Slam winner. Murray best British player ever. Would have won more slams if not for injury . Incidentally did you ever see Tiger doing keepy uppies with a tennis ball . Showed what a skilled athlete he was/is.

Why the 15 foot distance between interviewer and winner on the court after the game? Is this a Covid precaution?

Yep Conners was a right Con....t but brilliant. My first fave was bad boy Nastase . Amazingly flamboyant and allegedly the number one lothario of all time. More notches on the bed than Warren Beatty. Allegedly!!
Watching the Wheelchair Doubles Tennis now. Brilliant athletes and skilled players.

A real bad boy up there with George Best. However in footie and Tennis weren't the 70s and 80s far more colourful with characters. Watched the John Mac documentary when he played Vitas G in the final of the US Open. Mac won and Vitas asked Johnny Mac to come on the razz with him in NYC. Vitas was the play boy king!.

No never seen Tiger Tim do that.
Are you sure ?

The best English player is shirley Fred Perry with his 3 wins on the bounce, plus his successful polo shirt range.

Henman Hill is still there.

Hate him really.
Great player but never a great champion .
As a man,a role model,he does not compare with the likes of Laver .

Impressed with that Chris Eubanks. Looks like he's had some work done mind. Slimmer, new hair and hes grown a couple of inches. Would have loved to have seen him playing Nigel Benn in the final..... I'll get me coat.

He s great
Novak will feed on him being the crowd favourite and he will be for sure.
It looks like being a cracker
Tennis needs Carlos and Ons to become champions.

Alcaraz needs to stop doing wha T I always accused Murray if and that’s playing to and fro tennis. There have been times when he could have gone for a winner but instead has decided to play it back to Djokovic. That said, I still think Djokovic is playing much better at the moment. I’m sure we’ll see an improvement from Alcaraz, he just needs to settle down. Easy as that😁
