TBH we don't know how Benda will perform given his lay off and how well his recovery has gone.
But I would keep him over Fisher and work with him to become our No1.
There again he may not be ready to step up for months yet so a fee from another club is good for us and a longer contract elsewhere is good for the player.
If Rushworth lives up to his reputation that will be OK but we will be looking for a goalkeeper again next season. If he falls short then a recall could be on the cards in January.

Don’t think he’s been that badly treated. Martin clearly wasn’t going to admit his failings after bringing him in but clearly we could all see his limitations.
Benda took his chance but injury got in the way. If he hadn’t been injured he’d have been in the side til the end of the season and possibly Rushworth wouldn’t have been on our radar. | |

You’re right, he wasn’t up to Martin’s style but it’s more, much more than that! He doesn’t do the basics consistently required at this level.
