Charity drive over Christmas.

It sounds unsettling because it is. Hundreds more people from the very young to the very old will be diagnosed with a Brain Tumour next year. Many young kids who haven’t even tasted life will be spending their last Christmas with their family in 2023, because come next year they will no longer be here. That’s the basic truth when a family hears of a loved one, young and old who have the diagnosis their lives literally fall apart.

People live with Brain Tumours, however in my case our daughter will have her life considerably shortened as her diagnosis is terminal. TheBrainTumourCharity.org help hundreds of people with this condition. They provide support, carer breaks, last wishes, they fund investigation in to early diagnosis and palliative care. Their remit is across the board.

I know it’s Christmas and many will be surrounded with their family close by. Some patients don’t have that support, they rely on the charity for help just to stay alive. If you can please donate something this year, it can be £1 or any sums you want to give. Brain cancer will touch one in three in our lifetime.

I'll give something but to be honest, I'm going to be putting an effort into raising money for macMillan and Marie Curie hospices.

I wish you the best Christmas possible and I hoe you get a lot longer with your daughter than you expect. Time is so precious in these things.

The actual donation and those who give will remain anonymous, we just need the website referred to in your donation. As I said then we can do the same.

I have set up a monthly direct debit Keith.

Its only a small amount but I want to support this cause.

Anyone reading this you can set up a direct debit of £2 a month
(that isn't even a pint these days)

Next year I think we should sort out auctions.

Any fund raising related please inbox me and I would love to help!
