More than one player is starting games at the moment when they've no serious business doing so, even taking rotation into consideration.
| Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back. |

I thought he did OK in spells yesterday, but Ronald just hasn't done enough in recent games, or indeed for most of the season to justify the automatic starting berth he has at the moment. I find the criticism Franco is currently taking to be distasteful, but it seems obvious to me that Yalcouye has earned a start based on his recent appearances off the bench. My thoughts on Cullen are well known. If players who do well off the bench aren't rewarded for that with starts in subsequent games then there's not much point in them doing well off the bench.

| Swansea City : Matos at a crossroads with his team still searching on 09:49 - Dec 28 with 447 views | RichardO | Thought Ronald did well initially he did have the upper hand on Bidwell we know Bidwell is slow in the turn but he has been around for a long time in the championship but he still neededed to be targeted more,Coventry adapted a bit for the centre halves to cover for him but as Coventry pushed forward there were opportunities I don't think we used Ronald effectively in that second half Galbraith in an attempt to get into the midfield he didn't get the ball to Ronald's feet when we did he was very deep to cover Bidwell's forward runs. I do think that maybe away from home playing three at the back may be a better option having two defensive midfielders and two attacking midfielders all interchangeable, with wing backs we complained about Martin's style of play but at the time did we have the right players for those wingbacks? We had players who could score goals in Piroe, Ntcham and Paterson but couldn't get the supply to them quick enough in the space they needed to operate. The counter argument for the Coventry game would be we played well, restricted the home team to minimal chances created two gilt edged chances but succumbed to another poor set piece goal. I don't think we exploited that weakness of Coventry we stopped supplying Ronald to feet. We have complained for years about either individual players, managers or style of play. It looked as if we got it almost right against Coventry but our set piece defence let us down. | | | |

For me Franco’s play acting and cheating are the reasons he attracts attention.

No just remember being frustrated watching live that we didn't exploit the glaring weakness on their left properly. Under Cooper, Bidwell was rarely used as a full back because of his lack of pace but used in front of Manning who did have a better turn of pace. If Bidwell backed off then balls to feet, if he presses on balls on the floor in behind but either way support in the middle to offer Rinald a quick outlet to progress ourselves forward which to be fair in the first half we did .
| Swansea City : Matos at a crossroads with his team still searching on 10:42 - Dec 28 with 374 views | jack247 | I’d be very surprised if Widdell and Eom don’t both start tomorrow. Yes, we are rotating, but they are both in prime position to get the lions share of starts. He may throw a curveball by starting Yalcouye instead of Franco, but then players around him have to be mindful he’s unpredictable which has its good and its bad points. May even go for Fulton if he wants to give Franco a rest and go with a similar style player. Another big game Thursday. Thank god we’ve got a bit of depth this season. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Manning very rarely played under Cooper. Barely saw him the first season he was here.

Stating the obvious I suppose, but there it is.
