So far i only booked Travelodge Stratford on the Fri and Sat for West Ham away. It costs more at the weekends in hotels so if you don't book early price goes up. Prob do Preston again and a few others. I am away when we play Lincoln and Bolton.

Fixtures get moved around so much it has become a minefield - cheap advance tickets are usually for specific trains and non-refundable. They have usually all gone by the time the date and ko time are set in stone and the standard walk up fare on the day is a p-take.
Take Lincoln away - currently with ticket-splitting, a very convoluted route with advance tix - £68 for me which is acceptable in terms of distance travelled. Walk up fare though £122 (2 standard singles at £61) Hell of a difference.
Similar story last year for the first 2 aways - I think I posted on here at the time Boro was something ridiculous like £182 and Sheff Wed not much better

We stayed in Boro on the saturday last seaxkn, we dont often stay overnight tho and we always drive. Games get moved donoften its easier that way.

By 2 July 2026, selections will be announced in respect of all live broadcast matches to be played before the end of September 2026.
By 31 July 2026 selections will be confirmed in respect of all live broadcast matches to be played up to, and including, the weekend of 8-11 January 2027.
By 6 November 2026, selections shall be announced in respect of all matches to be played up to, and including, the midweek of 2-3 March 2027.
Selections for matches scheduled for the weekend of 5-8 March 2027 will be announced by 5 February 2027, followed by weekly announcements looking four-weeks ahead. (For example, the weekend of 12-15 March 2027 will be announced by Friday 12 February 2027).
Selections for matches scheduled for the penultimate weekend of the regular season will be announced three weeks in advance.
