Think Howe is a bit overrated (English) & has probably taken them as far as he can.
Man City had Hughes then went to Mancini who moved them to the next level, thought Newcastle would of went that route.

I think he's a good manager, but having one hand tied behind your back (losing your better players year after year) will take its toll.
Think we'll only truly see how good he is if elhe ever manages one of the top 4/5 clubs.

Good that he went out on his shield and didn't just accept the shenanigans of the board, clearly a man of principle. I doubt that he'll be out of work long.
Good Luck Eddie Howe. | | | |

Few years ago went up to Newcastle on a jolly boys weekend away and The City was total The Magpies , scarves shops and all cafes had the NUFC emblem , a hotbed of football .
Failure was not an option for them supporters and the passion showed .
As the youngsters with us went off clubbing I ended up chatting to a fellow oldie from that area and he even remembered Ivor Allchuch from Swansea Town .
He was a old hack from their local Sporting Post as we had back then .
