If Adkins had picked the right team at the start we could have won.

cesar was brilliant and nelsen and hill too. you just can't sit back and let wave after wave come at you.
draws are not enough but improvement? yes.

The back five were heroic against the evil Sam's Luftwaffe, the midfield didnt protect the defence or link with the attack.
Adel was superb first half, and remy started brightly but faded badly.

Started brightly but we were absolutely battered in the second half - so will take the point. Normally would have been pleased but games are slipping away now I'm afraid to say.

Before the results today, we were 6points off safety. Now with the draw today and Reading winning (again, 2 in a row for them now). And Aston Villa (winning at the time of typing this) we are 7points off safety. We NEED to win these games.

We remain unbeaten this year but draws are no good. I would rather win 1 then loose one. Remy brilliant first half then very quiet

Cesar by far MOM

Still think we have left it too late to survive

We are still holding on to salvage a point. Wouldn't it be marvelous to watch a match that we dominated and put 2 clear goals between us and them,(Fulham game excepted...as it was still a nail biter for the last 5 mins.) a game where Cesar wasn't always our man of the match!
Defence seems to be sorted, attack is in the process of being sorted....but what about the bit in between. Would love to have a midfield that bosses the opposition and relieves the pressure on our defence.
There is no doubt about the massive improvement under Arry, but the fact he is having to re-construct the 3 elements of the team, shows just what an incompetant farce we had before, under Hughes. Hope there's still enough time?? Still, 5 points is very do-able.

Really difficult to get a true perspective on the closeness of the players to the ball down the far end as to quote a recent linesman 'it was a bit murky'.

However, having now watched the highlights we gave Jarvis too much space which allowed far too many crosses. Apart from that the defence as well as Cesar and Mbia were heroic!

Remy started well, and a very cool finish, but faded which was to be expected as he hasn't played much recently.

Thought Harry got the subs wrong, especially taking off Mackie and putting Remy in the wide right position. Almost immediately we conceded from that side which we may have prevented had JM still been on. If he felt it necessary to bring on Bothroyd, he should have taken off Remy or Adel.

Some promising link up play between Tarabt, Remy and Mbia in the first half. We could do with Granero being available soon as he would add quality to the team or bench.

Remy needs minutes so I think he should get an hour against MK Dons and see if he can get some goals and improved confidence.

All things considered, we should be pleased with the point as we survived intense pressure and the good run goes on BUT why didn't Mbia go for goal at the end?

A good point well deserved on the second half showing. Two ***** goals. Well done Ricky and Jason. Still no real commanding figure at the centre of the defence.
