Look so much better, and more of a threat, going forward this season.

But....the same problems persist as the last couple of seasons e.g. starting the 2nd half slowly, conceding too many goals not long after scoring ourselves and generally looking "dodgy" at the back when put under sustained pressure, particularly when the ball is lumped into the box.

Vestergaard is a long way off Premier League standard at the moment (Yoshida or and Bednarek anyone?) and Cedric, again, was also terrible but because we don't have anybody putting pressure on his place this may well continue.

The big positive of this season so far is the form of Redmond (and i was 1 of his biggest critics) who has a better attitude and better body language about himself although the 2 things he really needs to bring to the team, crossing & shooting / scoring goals, still prove to be his biggest weaknesses.......at the moment.

Would have preferred different substitutions to Ward Prowse and Davis such as Yoshida and Targett and why no Romeu on the bench.

That goal from Højbjerg reminded me of some of those goals put away by a sertain lad from Guernsey. But his all round display was even more impressing. Think we're beginning to see the real potential this Dane possesses.

Little to choose between our cut price beaten up and patch team and the multi-multi Million £ Stoke other than a shocking performance by a linesman.
Allen off side not once but twice!

Nice little touches, bullied too easy and give the ball away too often.
Same old problem though little creativity and hardly anyone who can score goals...soild enough and bright in parts but scoring will be our downfall unfortunately.
Not mega impressed with any of the new signings yet to be honest either.

Solid performance. At last players seem to know what they are supposed to be doing even though both goals had a scrappy fortunate feel too them - Luongo outjumping their keeper? Although Eze will deservedly get plaudits I thought our defensive play was the most reassuring for a long time. Tackles were won, defenders got tight on the opposition, blocks made and they were fewer occasions when attackers were free in our box. It has to be said Millwall were poor, apart from the threat from 7 foot tall defenders esp in the second half. Wells mobility was great alongside Eze showing promise for the future. And my MoM - surprisingly at I've been disappointed in him before now - is Jordan Cousins, solid defensively and almost scored.

It's very fitting (and weird) that these match reports are already populated with comments from QPR's relegation season

Is that the one where a certain Mark Hughes walked the plank Dpeps?

I can't think of anything positive to say about today so take it away QPR...
