Some one saying on WATRB that the Supreme court has thrown out the appeal placed against us and Warren Farm is a goer! Good news if true!

AND WHEN I DREAM , I DREAM ABOUT YOU AND WHEN I SCREAM I SCREAM ABOUT YOU!!!!!

I'm not certain about this but I think they said on the BBC's "Autumnwatch" that at some point this week, they would be talking to the young naturalist Kabir Kaul. I seem to recall that SWF roped him into their campaign at one point.

Fingers crossed that QPR doesn't get painted in a bad light.

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

We should thank SWF for enabling us to avoid that complete dump of a place. It is a total sh ithole.

Scooters, Tunes, Trainers and QPR.

The building they want to put on the new site at Heston looks pretty cool.

They are currently pleading with Ealing Council to fund management of a wildlife habitat.

Good luck with that

Ealing Council are only intent with spending money blocking up the roads so Councillor Bell End and his cronies can see the odd cyclist pass through. No chance of them spending anything on Warren Farm.
I reckon quite soon there will be a traveller incursion there and thousands of pounds of dumped waste will give another headache.

Anyway... onto the Con Club and the future being bright in Heston......

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

The whole point of letting us develop Warren Farm was to remove the liability from Ealing Council wasn't it? They can't/won't/don't want to spend money on it so give it to QPR, we develop it, then we let the community use the facilities in return. Having gone to extrordinary lengths to scupper that, I can't imagine the council would be overly receptive to their pleas for anything on there.

What? Aren't they happy with the beautiful scenery that they heroically stopped QPR from ruining?

I'm totally shocked.

Latest findings of some consultation or other. Sounds like they're back to square one.

Complete and utter disgrace

Makes Linford Christie stadium look like Man City training ground

Broken glass and dog mess all over the pitches when my son played there

Why?

I know almost nothing about the Premier League even though I try to catch the big games every now and then at the end of the season. But I will say this, Queens Park Rangers is just a fukking sick ass team name. Just sounds so cool.

A Question for Ealing Council that one I think...

Can we go out yet?

I can see why they fought so hard for this pristine environment. Imagine destroying this heritage for beautiful football pitches and modern buildings?

Anyone know of any Irish traveller forums we can get in touch with to alert them to the opportunity? Seems like an ideal spot for a bit of that bare knuckle fighting they love.

Southall FC are trying to set up a stadium there now. So presumably the locals will be as against that as they were us?

Of course they won't

The only reason they kicked off with us was because "Save Warren Farm" was run by some Brentford weirdos

Money plus low risk of getting caught and even lower risk of getting much more than a trifling fine if prosecuted.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

Wait til the vans arrive and they stay put for 6 months+.
F n idiots, there would have barely been more traffic than a normal school sports day with us training there. They’ll get everything they deserve, until to stop the trashing the council put 1k+, maybe 2k+ houses and flats in there of which 50% will be social dwellings ( grew up in one myself, but when most folk had some level of dignity). Enjoy your wild meadow til then, you idiots. White goods carcasses will no doubt be your neighbour for a bit.
A good reason why more youngerish people should get involved in such local matters, before the pathetic made good, I’m now a tory old folk continue their journey into total blandness and ruin it for everyone

Sorry but I think it's a wonderful place to preserve all different types of dog poo. The various objectors must think it's money well spent not only to to conserve piles of this but a natural habitat for all the flies and germs. The fly tipping just adds to the charm of the place.

Ealing Council have proposed new sports facilities on the site and 2500+ people went to protest the planning meeting last night.

Thank goodness we walked away.

If I’d of known I’d of popped along with hat on (the one with no teeth marks in it)

These people are mad.
One minute crying out for outdoor facilities or council investment in the community; the next they want a return to the stone age

I once had dealings with a developer who started to consult the community on putting a refugee hostel on a site - his subsequent actual application for residential development was strangely lacking in middle class objections and flew through.

Ok there are nuanced arguments. But our kids cant afford homes due to lack of supply and I suspect those same protestors will be complaining about that next week.

although its nice to learn those breeze block changing rooms I used to freeze my nuts off in have been reclaimed by nature and turned into a site of special scientific interest as to my eyes it was always a dump.
