Fair enough Robith. You've got your reasons for not liking her and I can respect that. I would just like to see someone leading Labour who might actually win an election as I'm guessing you might as well? |

Unfortunately the only way we’ll live to see another Labour government is if they abandon all the principles that lead to the foundation of the party.
They have to appeal to enough people to get elected and that means another move to the centre ground in order to poach some moderate tories.

Be funny if they go on to win the next GE then. The mainstream media view is very often at odds with reality. Unsurprisingly, since it is owned by a bunch of vested interest groups, and most journalists are coopted one way or another. But the referendum result was a big shock to them. Ditto Trump. Could be the same with Corbyn.
The last GE result Labour defied most of the predictions. Sure, May gave them a helping hand by being such a hapless doofus, but even so. Now these latter-day neoliberals have left the Labour party, it's in a much better position, IMO. They can offer a clear alternative to the current incumbents. Which is something the so-called 'Independent Group' (what an ironic name!) cannot do. |  |
