Anyone watching the cricket today?Who will win is anybody’s guess.
Why do we always seem to start a test series so poorly?

Cant wait to watch the highlights.

Unbelievable games against both Pakistan and Australia, when you look at the scorecard our bowlers won that with their batting and bowling.

England were dead and buried yet still managed to turn it around.

Oh and David bloody Warner must shit himself when he see's Jofra Archer speeding towards him at 92 MPH.

Have to say I'm not so sure this was down to Morgan, more some great bowling when needed from Archer, Woakes and the Currans (and a bit of batting from Sam Curran and Rashid too)

That said I love Eoin Morgan, one of the all-time great captains IMO, not too many others have transformed a team like he has and a very fine white ball batsman too.

It's great to see an England team that so often wins when they look dead and buried, for most of my life it's been the other way round.

Hold on...i went to bed (6 hours ahead here) when it was clear the Aussies were thrashing us. Did we not lose that?! Superb if so, i'll go and check the score now.

Checked, slaughtered the Aussies. Brilliant effort. Love having two bonafide fast bowlers in the side.

I think he bowled each bowler at exactly the right time.

If it were possible then Morgan deserves a knighthood for what he as achieved for English white ball cricket
When he became captain we were a shambles and I honestly beleive he is and was the main reason we have become so good
The man is totally inspirational and every player under him seems to improve and his decision making is just amazing
Great captain, great man and let's try and keep him motivated as long as we can

Fair point. Didn't mean to imply any criticism.

I can't recall the last time you could say that he seriously got a game plan wrong.

The players seem to love the bloke and look up to him, they speak highly of him.

This england cricket team are a massive inspiration. So many different backgrounds, creeds and religions all coming together and working as a team.

You can see they all have respect for each other

Well done the Aussie's gave us a bashing and won the series.
Maybe we're not as good as we think we are.
Well in actual fact we're not.

I dunno Ted. Going into the last over it could have gone either way: the Aussies are a good side and they're going to win some of those.

If Joffra doesn't overstep against Wade it's a different game.

I thought in the last game that some of the England boys were looking tired and I reckon it's been a long summer for them, with the social isolation it must have been like an overseas tour. Overall I still think England are outstanding in 50 overs but the fielding is sub-standard. If they can get that up to scratch I reckon we'd be winning games like today's.

Well played Aussies and thanks to all who arranged to get the games on in this truncated summer. Also, special thanks must go to those teams who travelled many miles to be here and put up with all the restriction and go on to play the games in such good spirits.

No mate, we're only World Champions.
Could've gone either way. Aussies threw it away the other night, we threw it away tonight.
That's limited overs cricket for you!

Bare bones.

Yes mate it could have gone either way but after the Aussie's lost that game from a winning situation on Sunday they must have been devastated and to come back today like that In my book is pretty bloody special.

Christ alive don't get me wrong I like nothing more that beating the the bloody Aussies at cricket but we fell short tonight and sometimes you gotta hold your hands and take it on the chin.

Baffled that Adil Rashid got to bowl the last over though, he'd been battered by the Aussie batsmen surely a mistake by Eoin Morgan?

Stand to be corrected but I think the bloody Aussies also broke the OT record for a second innings run chase.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

Agree on fair play to the Aussies. Whisper it, but I don't mind most of this lot of them.

Yeah, hell of a gamble by Morgan giving Rashid the ball, he had a poor game.Though he did get that wicket that brought us back into he game.

But I like that about Morgan, willing to back his bowlers. Sometimes Root makes it obvious he doesn't trust bowler.
