We're in a world where someone can create an account, make shit up and pass it off as fact and people believe it, I keep reading things on twitter which is absolute nonsense made up tosh and people are losing their shit over it demanding sackings. It's bonkers

Whether people agree with Warbs going or not just let the club appoint a manager and then either praise or criticise them depending on how it goes. The Warburton appointment was not exactly popular at the time on social media.

You'd think/hope people might have learnt from last summer when they demanded players to be signed who were quickly slaughtered within a few months when they didn't meet the big expectations. Same happening with the manager this summer.

There was a post today where someone said Ferdinand should go for sacking Warburton and Warnock.

I pointed out that Warnock was sacked three years prior to Ferdinand joining the club.

The subject completely changed and the less than subtle ‘Ferdinand only hires his mates (Ramsey)’ came out.

As others have said, it’s not a accurate reflection of QPR fans on the whole.

Another one to add to the pot.

Never heard of him.

Feck me.

Canada has just qualified for their first ever world cup, which starts in November. Does anyone really believe that he is going to walk away from that to come to our circus?

Behave everyone.

Can we go out yet?

He's on lot of teams' radar. His resumé at international level is impressive. He took New Zealand's womens team to the WWC finals for the first time. Did the same thing with Canadian Women's National Team. And this year is taking the Canadian Men's Team to Qatar in November, the first time they've got that far since 1986.

He's British (a Geordie) and clearly works well with younger players, which would suit QPR's stated goal. However he's never managed at a senior professional club level, and never given any indication he wants to. It would be a massive gamble, for him and any team that appointed him. He seems pretty clear-headed, and his international record is impeccable. I can see him moving to a European national team rather than a club, that's what he knows and is good at.

@Vancouverhoop - I heard Warbs might be tempted by the MLS and Whitecaps have been (up to the Toronto game) on a terrible run. What do you think? He could probably afford to live in the British Properties ...

If Warburton was still manager the same people would be screaming for him to be sacked

He'd surely know better than that. The 'Caps have been a sh*tshow for years. Until there's a total clear out in the front office he'd be foolish to go anywhere near them.

He'd be better off at Pacific FC - they've been doing great considering their small budget and crowds!

Yeah. Their win against the Whitecaps last season got the last coach fired. They might be able to double the trick this year.

Call me a crazy (Aussie based) loon, but could Dyche maybe still in the frame, worked with Hoos before and has he got anywhere else to go? I maybe talking out of my backside here but isn’t he pretty good at working with what he’s got? Yeah look I’m in Melbs (obviously), so you’re closer to what’s happening, but didn’t Warnock sort of come out of left field at the time?

Dyche would have to accept a huge pay cut to come to us. And he'll probably want to wait around a few weeks to see what other jobs come up - can see him going to Leeds if they get relegated.

This is a money thing.
Was on £3.4m a year at Burnley, which would be a complete non-starter anyway. He'd want a good package for him and his coaches first and foremost which we can't afford on FFP.
Probably sensationalised but if you google Sean Dyche Burnley pay-off the press over here reckon he's pursuing Burnley for up to £15m, and you forgo a lot/all of that if you take another job.
He'll be favourite for every lower Premier League job that comes up next season. You can just see it now as the teams get themselves into trouble, sack a manager, Dyche would be an obvious favourite. So he can afford to wait. If he was to come here he'd want money to spend on players, and we don't have it.
That's without getting into style of play stuff.

You've got no chance basically. I wait to be proven wrong...

Sean Dyche is not going to manage QPR any time soon. One of the biggest problems with our fanbase is expectation, both of where the club should be (in their minds - and I mean 'should' not *could*, which are very different) and in who they think the club can attract.

Bare bones.

Warnock only came about as Palace went into administration and got a big points deduction which put them in a relegation battle. That brought up an opportunity to get him which probably would have cost a lot more in different circumstances

Dyche just seems a non starter to me and would require a very different squad of players to the one we have

Sometimes I wonder if people actually realise what division we play in.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

Very good points all, and me going off on a tangent, Leeds would be the obvious choice, but it’s an itch I can’t seem to scratch. He seems a bit far too ‘Northern’ (?) to be considered, Watford notwithstanding of course!

Dyche has a reet Northern demeanour but get past the crunching gravel in the gizzards and he has a Midlands accent. North but not north North.

The weird thing is, post Dave Sexton we've rarely ever been the kind of club that would have employed a manager of Dyche's profile, straight from multiple seasons in the top flight — even when we were a top flight club.

Jim Smith and Gerry came from the division below, Wilkins was promoted from within, etc etc. The closest we've come to bringing in "real" "proven" Premiership managers (and that when we were actually in the Premiership) has been Hughes and Redknapp. SURELY we've learned a lesson from that?

Given that the trendy opinion now is "we don't need a director of football" - no, no we haven't.

Dyche has bought a load of property in Nottingham recently, just waiting for Steve Cooper to decide he's too big for Forest and should be in the top flight. Unless of course he takes them up

Young, up and coming managers /coaches be blowed!

What about this lot? Miracle workers who have taken their part-timers to the brink of the SPL. Cheap too, most of them qualify for a free bus pass, I should imagine, as will I in a few short years

PS: I am only half serious

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Ainsworth for me over Dyche or anyone else, 10 years experience at Wycombe, been relegated, promoted and spent time in the championship, worked with youth, old pros and loans, plays a high tempo high press, may not be the prettiest to watch, but he hasn't had the most talented players to use and works on a budget. Doubt we'd ever leave the ground feeling like they hadn't put everything in.

than coming to us.
