World Cup - Dieng and Chair in shop window 10:19 - Oct 27 with 4033 views | numptydumpty | Both more likely be sold in January if play and perform well. Checked out Morocco and Senegals teams to play in group stages and possible qualification ie top 2 in group go through to more high profile knockout stages. Morocco Belgium Croatia Canada Senegal Netherlands Ecuador Qatar Would say got Senegal more than evens chance of progressing, whilst Morocco will find it harder as their group on paper seems stronger. Am hoping board remain strong even if fees offered higher as result world cup performances, and January add a little more also. [Post edited 27 Oct 2022 10:20]

Id argue that chair is more likely to start, Morocco's regular No.10 is injured and seny is 2nd fiddle to Mendy Hopefully seny starts every game keeps 3 clean sheets but senegal go out on GD, while Chair starts every game scores a hat trick but lose every game 3-4, both back for Burnley game with an extra £20m on their heads!
World Cup - Dieng and Chair in shop window on 10:36 - Oct 27 with 3301 views | terryb | The first thing is that neither player is certain to be playing. Perhaps Dieng has the better chance of starting matches, depending on whether Senegal take into account their first choice 'keeper isn't playing at present. As to qualification, it will be interesting to see if Croatia have enough left in their aging tank to defeat Morocco in the heat of Qatar. Also Ecuador are a better side than are often credited with & do not rely on altitude as they used to, possibly due to their players playing in Europe. Hopefully both play & perform well.

This - unless Mendy is injured then Dieng won't get a look in. Chair is more likely to get minutes for the reason mentioned above.

World Cup - Dieng and Chair in shop window on 10:43 - Oct 27 with 3278 views | daveB | Chair hardly ever plays for them so doubt we'll see much of him. I think Senegal are one of the possible games for England if we win the group which would be interesting. Mendy is out injured at the moment as well.
World Cup - Dieng and Chair in shop window on 11:00 - Oct 27 with 3229 views | dmm | Don't forget Tyler Roberts is likely to be in the Wales squad. However, he probably won't get many minutes on the pitch.

World Cup - Dieng and Chair in shop window on 12:43 - Oct 27 with 2967 views | aston_hoop | Morocco gave impressive debuts in the last international break to players who'd be in direct competition with Chair, one from La Liga and one from Serie A. If he goes and gets a game, he'll have really earned it. I'll be surprised if we see Dieng playing unless Mendy gets injured. Personally hope they both play though, would make me far more likely to watch it.

We would need to be missing three players, so it would take Senegal, Moocco& Wales to be in the quarter final.

World Cup - Dieng and Chair in shop window on 11:11 - Oct 28 with 2369 views | PerthRs | According to the Premier League website it quotes: The Premier League will have a mid-season break to accommodate the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, which runs from Monday 21 November until the final on Sunday 18 December. The season will stop after the weekend 12/13 November before fixtures resume on Boxing Day Sunday 26 December. Surly not all the clubs have got players going to the WC so why is it that the Championship is penalised by requiring at least 3 players are in the QF in order to cancel the fixture.

Perhaps it is because it is not the Premier. The three player rule is not for the world Cup. It applies to all internationals at any age range, hence why some League One games are postponed during international breaks. In the middle of December the only internationals taking place are at the World Cup.
World Cup - Dieng and Chair in shop window on 18:23 - Oct 28 with 2054 views | LazyFan | If Chair gets any game time, he will likely be sold. I am okay with this if .. .and its a big if, we use that money to tie Willock down to a longer-term contract with no get-out clauses like if a prem club comes in for him or price valuation is met or both. As I said a big IF. It would probably mean paying Willock way over the wage budget of approx £20K per week. Special price for a special player and against everything else we have been doing. I would pay that risk for a player who I consider is Prem class playing for little ole QPR way below his level. Then use the rest to pay for Tim Iroegbunam and Ethan Laird. After that, there won't be any left :P Dieng I would be happy to sell, even though I think he's great. Goalkeepers are easier to replace than outfield players. Its wrong but true.

Just seen that too. What a shame for the lad. He absolutely deserves to be in the Senegal squad. It will mean less attention on him of course but also I guess a lower price should a club be interested.
World Cup - Dieng and Chair in shop window on 12:50 - Nov 8 with 1558 views | aston_hoop | The squad doing the rounds in the African media doesn't have him in it. Actually can't see anything official though so maybe there is hope yet edit - yep sounds like its 'fake news'. [Post edited 8 Nov 2022 12:53]
