We’re in real trouble.
Dykes out, willock has clearly got a serious problem that is not mending or going away; roberts only plays two or three before injury; midfield today totally one paced and so many times there was no pass because all three play in pivot like positions.
Armstrong got the crowd going, that was the best 45 i’ve seen him play. Stick him and Martin up front and just bomb it in the box and hope we can grab the three wins we need because we are in serious trouble. |  |

the football we play is so boring! after 25 minutes today i was falling asleep. I don’t understand why we break, and then immediately move the ball back. we take ages to get into the game, our first real chance was in the 80th minute! it’s honestly strange to think we were top in october. i dream about those performances against middlesbrough and watford. the real question is, has a team ever been top of the league in october and gotten relegated ? don’t think there will be anything to cheer about in the near future. lose 2 or 3 more and we’ll be in the relegation mix. |  | | |

Not making an excuse for the manager but I think injuries have been crippling us. We only ever seem to have two centre backs available at anyone time, limiting our choice of formation. Our success earlier in the season coincided with our full backs bombing forward and joining the attack, which they are not really doing so much now.
I also think Richards has been a big miss for us. The glimpses we have had of him suggest he could have had a big part to play alongside Johansen (who's also missed too many games) and Field. Iroebugnam is too raw and Dozzell doesn't get involved enough. For me, we always seem to have a passenger or liability in midfield.
As for Amos, JCS and Roberts, either retire fro playing professional football or learn to play with when not 100% fit as I'm sure other players do. | | | |
