Yet another legal challenge on the horizon.

What will he do when the last hurdle is out of the way?
Be long gone I'd imagine

By the way. I cannot see how the club would stand to make £4mill out of this unless it's in terms of savings on the lease elsewhere

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

And if the building works goes ahead and he's still here, will you stop calling him childish nicknames?

Be interesting to see how that plays out because they've surely exhausted all legal avenues now, you can't just keep going back to things that have been refused before.
Anyway they've got to crowd fund it first, you'd be a fool to put money into that as you'll never see it again and likely lose anyway.
I'm getting to the stage where I hope we don't get a training ground and they end up with a nice retail park with twts pulling doughnuts in the car park all night.

The £4m is probably a figure plucked form the air but we currently rent Harlington and Concorde Club as part of our £8m a year running costs, and we'll be renting the facilities out for public use like the evil bstrds we are.

I doubt he will. Seeing as this development is mainly in the capable hands of LH and Ruben, I'm only surprised he's not blaming JFH for it as well.

And if only there was a way that cunning QPR couldcoach in a load of kids as cheap labour to help reduce building costs?!

Does Lee Hoos have a white cat that he takes to work with him?!

The lorry maths don't add up.

Surely you get more than 7.5 cubic metres of landfill in a lorry?

Any construction workers care to confirm or deny that?

Love the "thundering through" part - we ARE talking London here aren't we - there is the odd spot of traffic in that area already!

Finally, how does a "small community pavilion" "service" ALL pitch needs on the site - that's one clever "pavilion"

Wouldn't matter if it was us, Tesco, Wimpy Homes - objections would be the same.

Finally, L block, there is no reference to or a quote from TF in that article and in a democratic society, not sure how he or anyone else at the club can stop people making (nonsense) legal challenges in any case - so for once can't see how he is to blame here - unless you know of an alternative perfect site ready to go nearby!

They're not kids really, they're obviously all experienced labourers and tradesmen, not that they're CORGI qualified judging by the state of the places they left behind.

It's a monstrous conspiracy I tell you.

what I don't get with all of this is why we haven't thought of a plan B or C
TF has been here well over 5 years and yet nothing has happened re the training ground
this should have been one of the first things he did
as it is we fall further and further behind other clubs with training and academies

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

We don't know there isn't an alternative. Plus, any plan B, C or Y will also have years of local protests wherever it is.

The council will will be responsible for the land fill and profit from it , swf are contradicting that claim by claiming Ealing council plan to use household waste as landfill ,
But don't think finding newts would be far fetched there are newts the other side of the railtracks don't know what kind though

actually, they have done plan b. there are much better facilities for the kids now, an indoor artificial pitch and a much, much improved coaching set up, miles clear of what it was a few years ago.
the problem is that they could've abandoned this two or three years ago. Tried for a new site. but then the same could've happened. You act as if it's easy to find cheap land that a council would be happy to waive through without any comments from local residents.

Bare bones.

Plan B is improve Harlington, rent the concorde site for the youth team and use the dome at Cranford college - done.
Plan C would be an alternate site, and I'm sure if you know of a plot of land in the West London area which is available to us for free and big enough for a quality training ground the club would be delighted to hear from you.

Trucks vary in their payload capacity, but 7.5 cubic would a reasonable figure to work on.

Either that or the name of a forthcoming clay animation children's programme about the everyday goings-on at a West London football club.

The actual crowdfunding page is quite amusing. I did particularly enjoy the "artist's impression" of what it will look like after we have levelled the ground...

I work in the real-estate investment world and I think Lee Hoos was spot-on in his last update where he mentioned one-final hurdle and then we are ready.
This recent article is pure bluster and as for crowd-funding such a legal challenge, when other such cases have failed, is pure folly.
They know the game is up.

Why does it have to be West London ? Would north west , south west London or even Hertfordshire not do ? Has the club even looked around at different sites ? Knowing "uncle tone" I'd bet that we haven't
The point is we have been waiting and waiting on this for 4 -5 years all the while we get left behind , how many new buildings retail parks and estates have built in that time on land that we could of had ?
By the time planning permission and the building is done it could be another 2-3 years before this state of the art training centre is complete
And didn't TF say a year or two a go that the new training ground wasn't that important and it was all about players ?
I don't trust TF to get this off the ground whatsoever the phrase I believe it when I see it springs to mind

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore
