Not posted here for many years (for various reasons - but have continued to lurk) but Clive and NeilSI along with various other posters will remember me... Anyway, post is not about me, but about Dave Price aka Rrrr's Pricey.
Apologies if it has already been posted but Dave was involved in a serious motorcycle accident in Le-Mans - This happened a few weeks ago and he is due to be flown back to a UK hospital over the next day or two having been in an induced coma. He had sustained a broken hip, 7 fractured ribs, fractured wrist, finger and broken femur.
So, as you can imagine he is not in a great way, but I am sure you will all join me in wishing him a speedy recovery.
Again, apologies if it had already been posted but couldn't see anything here and know he was a popular poster.
We’re all just Internet forum user names but when you read stories like this, and like 2thomas2bowles recent post, it hits home we are all people with lives.
All the best with that Mr Pricey, i've seen plenty of motorbike victims, not much fun. God speed as they might have said in Mr Hornblower, which i've been watching. Fingers crossed you had medical insurance*. My daughter's schoolfriend (she's 14) snuck out at night with a Thai boy a couple of weeks ago. He crashed, not a scratch on him, she lost her nose and her teeth.
* speaking of which, my last mate who had a bad accident on a bike, Magnus, couldn't pay his hospital bills, i had to lend him 2K English. Unfortunately, interpol then turned up and sent him to prison in Sweden for drug dealing, never got my two grand back.

I was on a motorbike track day at le mans when I had a huge high side causing broken fingers, wrist, collar bone, shoulder, several ribs, femur and hip. Main issue was I was put in an induced coma for 2 weeks as I'd punctured a lung as well and then got pneumonia.
Anyway important thing is that all's well and we appear to have had a most unqprlike start to the season. Mrs P is a Looton fan and she said after everything I've put her through I must want them to do well this weekend ...nurse!!!
