In terms of unpleasant things happening on the way to / from the game, I had similar feelings about my girlfriend and me getting hassled by a drunk idiot in the defectors weld before kickoff. Normally very well-behaved in there, was pretty taken aback. Also kind of summed up the game for me.

My first car was a wee MG Midget. One summer, I was at the traffic lights waiting for it turn green. Sun shining, roof down, shades on, thinking that I was the bees knees. I catch the eye of a young lady passing by. As the lights turn green, I try to play it cool and gently caress the car into first, only to find that a pigeon has crapped all over the gear knob. The look on her face was priceless. That said, it got me a date so it turned out good in the end.

There were two pigeons above me on the beams above.
I am certain they were in collaboration and celebrated when they hit their target.
