Poku and hamstrings 18:02 - Mar 16 with 4523 viewsandrew1302

Poku was having treatment at Coombe Grove in Bath. I live nearby and was told on several occasions he was seeing a physio there. Question is as we have half the planet of physios working at and for the club why go to a physio in Bath? Maybe Nouury could avoid answering that one!

Going to a specialist wouldn't be out of the ordinary.

You know it could just be a case of QPR sending Poku to a leading expert on hamstrings, as many sports teams do. Or, such is the NHS style waiting list to get an appointment with the QPR physio, that we either send them to Bath or, India.

Isn’t cycling Ben from the West Country? Maybe it’s one of his contacts? It’s amazing that we are probably a 15 mins drive from HQ to Harley Street where we would have the pick of the best consultants and physios in the world! Surely the club’s health insurance would allow us that?

At the back of mind, isnt there a place in Bath that's a centre for sporting excellence/olympic centre?

Yes, Bath University has some world class sporting facilities. Many countries used it for example to prepare for the 2012 London Olympics.

It’s where our Gold medalist on the skeleton at the Winter Olympics trained. They are all about that take off and sprint so if he is going there I would suggest more than a good thing

Poku, might just live out that way, and it was more convenient to go there?
A lot of players live along that M4 corridor.

Akos Buzsaky used to train at the Virgin gym in Stockley Park, I think its pretty common
