Swansea to take in 'child' refugees... 13:52 - Oct 25 with 20816 viewsLohengrin

I see its been announced today that Swansea is to take in an as yet unspecified number of 'child' refugees. You'll no doubt start to encounter these moslem toddlers on Oxford Street over the coming months suffering gout and sporting dentures.

While the Government and Council happily dip into your pocket without a second thought to fund these interlopers the local boy below has to try and fund raise to get a set of prosthetic hands.

Where the fcuk are their priorities?

Swansea to take in 'child' refugees... on 15:32 - Oct 25 by Lohengrin

You are the enemy. It's that simple.

Although I wonder what tune you'd be singing if one of these 'children' is put next to your 12-year-old daughter in school. I wonder just what shade of 'red' you'd turn?

My feelings:

1. I would not object if younger, vulnerable children were brought to the UK direct from a war zone (as in Ebo's pictures). I think it is deeply mistaken to bring 17 year olds (and older) from France, Italy and Greece, while leaving more deserving candidates in the camps of the Middle East. Even this is not ideal as the best solution is to provide good in-region support for young people so that they can return to their own countries and cultures when peace comes.

2. I am unsure of Swansea's capacity to accommodate many more asylum seekers or children with existing resources. Home Office monthly figures show we have nearly 900 asylum seekers on section 95 support in the city at present, plus an unknown number who have already been granted asylum. The recent story about the unfortunate refugee who is pleading to be moved from the Griffith John flats suggests we may be near capacity as far as acceptable accommodation is concerned.

3. I am unconvinced that the new 'children' will be spread equally around the UK, so that only about 10 end up in Swansea. The track record with asylum seekers up until now is that they have been distributed unevenly so that most of them end up in less expensive cities well away from leafy Home Counties suburbs.

4. I am sick of our elected representatives, in Plaid and Labour (for whom I voted in the last two general elections), wilfully ignoring the views of ordinary people in favour of virtue signalling.

5. Given the very high cost of residential care for minors, there will be an opportunity cost for our own disadvantaged children, of whatever ethnic background, of whom there are quite a lot.

The same migrants that have turned out to be terrorists and rapists, the Germans are really ecstatic

Funny that the ones who are complaining most in Germany are from Meck Pomm and Sachsen in the former East. Very low number of refugees compared to the former West but filled with a lot a sad ex Commie losers left behind after the fall of the Wall. Now they''ve got somebody to blame for their idleness while sitting on their arses watching crap afternoon TV.

Is the wrong answer.

The proof is in your original post and in many others on here. It is like the old classic line "I'm not racist but..."

Is the only answer.

There can be nobody reading this thread, Ebo, who can be under the slightest misunderstanding as to where you and I stand. No ifs, no buts...

And before you take the moral high ground, you consistently get in a froth about supporting the death penalty on here.

Yes I'll be voting John and I'd certainly bring the death penalty back for certain cases but I don't pretend to be left wing like you do.

It's not the sort of thing I'd personally get involved in. But many people get "left wing", "tolerance" and "liberalism" mixed up.

Thanks, Ebo & Glossolalia - at least some are fighting the right corner.

Don't give me all this garbage about not being able to afford these refugees - we took tens of thousands of Jewish kids in WW2 & we're amongst the top 10 richest countries in the world.

Immigrants are being scapegoated for all the social/economic problems of this country (cf Jews in 1930s Germany) - problems which have been there for generations, long before this migrant "crisis".

The rich and powerful of this country must be laughing their asses off to see how easy it is to divide and rule - to get poor, uneducated whites frothing at the mouth about even poorer migrants.

Utterly sickening. And, as others have mentioned, it's becoming increasingly uncomfortable in this country to hold liberal/left wing views. I have half a fear that the holders of such views will, one day, be outed, rounded up and executed.

That would be heaven-on-earth for Lohengrin, of course - who, I suspect, is a closet blackshirt with a bedroom stuffed with Nazi regalia.

And who is that dull fu** moaning that 'they' never helped us in WW2? Tens of thousands of people from all over the globe fought and died with the allies in that war, as any half wit knows - including, by the way, for all you Pole-haters out there, a squadron of Polish fighter pilots, who had one of the best kill ratios of any RAF squadron.
