The Belgian paper says he attended court on Friday (the previous hearings he hadn't attended) with a new lawyer and asked for a fresh trial but that was rejected and he was sentenced. I'm still waiting for a "but..." |  | | |

But if there is truth in this, thank god we've just bought Andersen and have Hodge on loan.
If this ends up being a total lie. Could Chair sue The Sun for anything. Qpr should get a legal team involved if so.

If this is true and he is indeed on his way to a Belgium jail as we type, this one year sentence (plus one year suspended) means that the 2 years left on his contract is a f*ck load of good. He’d get out and return to us for the last 12 months of the deal…enabling him to run it down and walk on a free.

Yeah, a good point. Rangers loyalty aside, if he did do this then it is clearly to his great shame. Puts club in a tricky position whether to support him or not.
