If you watch the highlights the reason Poku is holding his face is Smyth clobbers him mid flip with his boot. 😂 |  |

Fabulous report.
Surprised there is no mention of the significant shift in mentality of this group that must have been instilled ostensibly by JS.
There is an ambition and belief in this group, the likes of which we haven’t seen for years and despite not having achieved the points haul we should have so far, the underlying numbers, attitude and performances indicate there is much more to come from this group.
Exciting times ahead. |
Something else that’s different this year is the players’ fitness. To be a man short for 75 minutes but over-running them in the last 15 minutes was really impressive. [Post edited 22 Sep 8:19]
