Anyone watching?

No. Have to say I don't find it remotely entertaining and all a bit self-congratulatory. Also in two minds about any charity run by the UN, which probably sees only a tiny percentage of proceeds actually go to those that need them rather than the well-oiled FIFA-style machine administering it.

......and don't get me started on her and her best mate Gabby Logan. Nepotism at its most stomach-churning.

Does anyone remember England vs the ROTW around 1987/88? Maradonna played and was booed. I was 10/11 and did a the Bobby Robson soccer school for a week at bisham abbey, the England team were training there, we waited for autographs and Peter Shilton refused to sign autofgraphs for us kids, never liked him since.

Yes it was the centenary celebrations for the football league , I think that season the top 5 teams in each division played in a round robin 20 minute game at Wembley over the course of the weekend , it was all very strange I remember tranmere doing well, as a boy I was gutted rangers wasn't in it
As for soccer aid Fcuk that a night of Gordon Ramsey, Ollie Murs and Robbie fcukin Williams is probably a night from hell firs yours truly , I'd rather watch repeats of last of the summer wine

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

Olly Murs is a pretty useful football player.

Never knowingly right.

Watching it as AP McCoy is involved and he plays fairly regularly in one of my games. Been trying to build up match fitness as we all know nothing compares to actual game time and we had a fairly competitive full game a couple of weeks ago.

He's not a bad player but stays away from me after one ill-timed challenge during our first game left him hobbling and calling me all sorts.
