Back from a cracking trip in Vegas.
Won more than I lost so I'll take that as a victory for me.
One thing that continues to amaze me about being in the states is the total disregard for any news or sport being televised or reported on their general networks.
I'll accept L.V. is in melt down as their team in its inaugural year are in the Stanley Cup final and the bouncyball finals are on also but not a sniff of the Derby or any other European sport and not a whiff of any world cup stuff.

We had a 1 night stay there after a weeks trekking in the Grand Canyon 4 years ago.I had plans to stay awake for our early flight the next day but I got bored of it all after a couple of hours and went back to the room with a couple of beers and watched the Ryder cup on the tv.
I don’t think I’d want to spend any length of time there again as it didn’t appeal to me.I suppose it might’ve been different if I was into the shows or the amusement rides,or had the time to do them both,but the casinos just bored me silly. [Post edited 6 Jun 2018 11:11]

I went earlier this year for the first time.....we used the word "weird" a lot.
Its like a Billionaire had a random dream and created it.
The only place in the world where 5 star glamour sits next to random tackiness.
Good fun though, not sure I would go back unless it was with the lads. | |
