Really don't think flat conclusions are as simple to make as this if we don't know the finer points of Walsall's situation or how Oteh's been getting on individually.
Lower league sides loaning kids for depth happens all the time - obviously clubs including ours try to select destinations where it won't happen but the system isn't conducive to managing what happens once they've gone. |  | | |

I saw Paul Smyth for Accrington play for 20 min against Gillingham where they pumped the ball into the air for all 5ft 10 of Billy Kee to flick on to Smyth. Funnily enough Smyth barely touched the ball for those 20 min because Kee couldn't win a header but it doesn't mean Smyths a bad player. The same could be happening to Oteh at Walsall for all we know so I'm not going to dismiss him just yet. |  | | |
