The Man City away game. Last game of the season May 2012. The one the world remembers for us staying up. A mate and well known wind-up merchant was telling me whatever railway line it was had banned all alcohol on the trains that day. I was 90% sure it was indeed a wind-up but the 10% of my brain that wasn’t sure persuaded me to buy a little tub of porridge for the train from a well known sandwich & coffee vendor and empty two miniatures of single malt into it. I discovered it to be a breakfast that ticks all the boxes. Heartily recommended.

We also fell for this and spent the night before injecting vodka into the seals of lucozade bottles... just to turn up at the train to see rangers fans openly drinking crates of lager !

Injecting vodka into seals? Eskimo hi-jinx if ever I heard it.
