Think he is a solid left back - Mackie ripped him a new one last season at Loftus Rd though... A good addition if it comes off - more excited with the Tom Carroll signing .....

Good player especially at championship level, not the kind of player I thought redknapp was making a team of tho as not sure he would give 110% and fight for the cause every min and on a tue night away but in clutching at straws. Overall I'm very happy with this signing
Assou-Ekotto could have gone to Besiktas or Roma for more money. He's gone to #qpr on loan because of Redknapp and his love of London #thfc _____________________________________ He likes Redknapp? Good lad.....!!!!!

Hope this one is true, we all love hill, but we need cover at left back.
If not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled. PG Wodehouse
Transfer window coup!!!! One of the few players we have where you can say DEFINITELY premier league standard. I think we should be celebrating this one.
How many LBs do we need...Hill, Traore, Assou Ekoto, Suk Young. Clearly more than strikers...we have Austin and injury prone Zamora and Johnson and Hitchcock who is untried really

This is what he said in an article a couple of years ago "But i don't want to meet a girl who has been touched by a Chelsea or Fulham player, okay? Fantastic."

He will have to lie down in a darkened room next time we play Nottingham Forest.

From a straw poll of about 7 Tottenham fans, they are close to distraught that he's not there this season - rated much higher than Rose and are doubting AVB's judgement as a result.

I agree with them, I can't see why he let him go but their loss is our gain. I believe there was some unfortunate misunderstanding where he tweeted that you still have to go to work even if you hate your boss (soon after AVB arrived but not intended in relation to AVB he stressed later)
And, in relation to Jamie Mackie getting the better of him, I've mentioned before that Assou was carrying an injury in the game against us and he was out for some time afterwards as he aggravated it further

Queens Park Rangers full-back Benoit Assou-Ekotto, 29, spent the international break skydiving in Miami.
We can expect a few more penalties coming our way then. Got his mind on the game that lad. Like it!
As far as the signing goes he's clearly a premier League standard and not in aging, couldn't honestly be fcuked way. I think he'll do very well for us. Clint will be his Main Competition but Clint himself says he wants to compete for CB. Redknapp would have Traore put down if he was allowed to and he doesn't trust YSY.
