Stranger things - Knee Jerks
by tonyawilliams at 15:12:12

It was a memorable result for QPR, and Heinola’s six talking points should offer a clear insight into what went right against Leeds. Wins like this underline why the FA Cup still delivers unexpected moments and tactical lessons. That mix of surprise and analysis is part of what keeps fans engaged — much like the appeal of platforms such as Q online casino, where unpredictability also plays a role.

Under fire Marriner in charge of Burnley trip - referee
by tonyawilliams at 15:09:18

With Marriner appointed for the Burnley trip, it’s understandable that there’s some debate given the recent scrutiny around officiating. Hopefully the focus stays on the football itself and the referee’s performance doesn’t become a talking point after the match. As with any big game, fans will be hoping for consistency and fairness — the same kind of reliability people look for in established platforms like <a href=" https://queen-win-online.com&q

Men against kids. Watched match with a Wednesday commentary who were resigned to defeat even at 0-0. Reminds one of Jake Paul vs Anthony Joshua, inevitable result but hardly convincing. Kolli’s non- plussed goal reactions said it all.

Kolli rescues Rangers, but injuries mount – Report
by HastingsRanger at 14:12:53

Accurate report as always! The game was saved by 3 well taken goals. This was a very poor opposition that might have stolen a point. Whilst Bannan was a self appointed play maker, as long as our defence dealt with his deliveries there was no threat. However, his drifting about left their midfield gaping. Quite why it took so long to seal the game, I don't know.

The injuries is a worry and I am not keen on JS statements on the difficulties of the Xmas period, highlighting other teams that struggled too. If some are losing, then others are winning - look at Watford or Wrexham. The reality for me was this was a poor return and we have lost a chance to post some cheap points on the board. Just one of those defeats a win and we would be close to the play-offs.

However, given the injuries now and games to come, I am less positive about our final position. Is the definition of a good season parachuting into 16th rather than scrambling into 16th?

Bit of a strange match. I would use the analogy of a man ordering soup in a restaurant, and the waiter asks how was it. He replies, well it tasted ok, but it was lukewarm. Some of our play was atrocious, but in the end 3 goals does compensate. Everyone around where I sit in SBS were getting mighty frustrated with us constantly losing the ball, and passing it to Wednesday, before the 2 excellent well taken Kolli goals. As for the injuries I’d say not only the state of the pitch, but the sub zero temperatures contributed to them. Now that the ridiculous Christmas and New Year schedule are out the way, there can be no further excuses on the number of matches we’ve had to play, although for every other team it’s been the same.

So on to West Ham. At least we have a full week to recover, and hopefully find someway back to full fitness for the players that will be available. Just hope we give it our best shot for the 9,000 of us going. 4th Round here we come. Well maybe, but probably not.

Referee League 2010/11
by alexbelov11 at 09:02:57

Queens Park Rangers seemed to ignore the warning signs after Wednesday’s disappointing showing against ten-man Plymouth, and Hillsborough provided another harsh reminder. Facing fellow strugglers Sheffield Wednesday, QPR once again failed to rise to the occasion. While the shift from Gareth Ainsworth’s chaotic tenure to Marti Cifuentes’ more structured approach has clearly boosted confidence, it may now be tipping into complacency. Performances like this won’t impress fans or backers looking to trust QueenWin UK https://techsouthwest.org.uk predictions based on consistency and discipline.

Kolli rescues Rangers, but injuries mount – Report
by ingeminate at 21:49:25

I don’t know what to make of our fitness coach. One hand we start every season slowly and seem to pick up more than our fair share of muscular injuries. Plus players - Saito etc seem to come to the club sharper than they then become.
Flip side is I think our record of scoring towards the back end of games is among the best in the league so we finish games strongly. Is that a sign of fitness or more of having a much stronger bench than previously with Smyth, Poku, Dembele, Saito all capable of coming on late and changing games.
Probably in the he’s a patronising shit doing a bang average job, but be interesting to see how the stats pan out.

Insert paragraph about Barry Bannan – Preview
by TacticalR at 11:26:55

Thanks for your preview.

Ever since that Leicester game we have faded. Actually, it's not the first time this season the goals have dried up, despite the potential potency of our attacking players. It's precisely because our defence is so poor and that we have this attacking option that I think our only best bet is to try and outscore the opposition, although I understand why people say you have to sort out the defence before anything else.

Today we will find out if we all have Barry Bannan derangement syndrome or whether he really is out to get us.

2 worst defences in the division, we should be guaranteed some goals.

So 0-0 then.

Cheers Clive. Two things: Firstly, I don’t think West Ham’s abysmal form and impending relegation will matter a jot when we play them. It’s almost a carbon copy of last season when we played Leicester, who hadn’t won or even scored for games on end before we played them and we all know how that panned out.
Secondly, I agree with you 100% about the Hull game. With our attack and defence I thought we would have gone all Keeganesque and tried to outscore the oppo in every game. Even if the results were the same but the scores different in the last three games; 3-3 with Portsmouth, 5-4 v WBA and 4-5 against Norwich, it would have been a whole lot more fun to watch. Not likely to happen with an xg of zero I guess.I thought Watford would be similar actually, but they seem to have sorted out their defence.

Nightmare start to the New Year as Norwich beat QPR again - Report
by Marshy at 22:03:45

Like many on here I don’t just live round the corner from Loftus Road, and in order to get to HQ I have to drive, walk, train it and tube it to make it to what we always hope will be the Promised Land. (Sadly it rarely is.) As a season ticket holder I’ve been doing this for many years, but I’m prepared to put in the effort to support the team I love. Therefore it really made my blood boil with the Norwich match that the players looked as if they were not only still consuming the Christmas turkey leftovers, but were out on the lash the previous night, and awoke with New Year’s Day hangovers. To put in such a turgid display against a Canary shite team has really rattled my cage, (if you’ll excuse the pun). No effort, no plan, no idea. What is going on? Is it the so called exhausting 3 games in a week scenario - yet every other team has the same schedule. Is it the clubs coaching or training methods. Is it the tactical sessions that are not being understood. Whatever it is, there is something seriously wrong behind the scenes to produce this dross and criminally inept display.

What’s happened to Kone & Burrell. Did either of them even touch ball. Our defence were so lost for the first Norwich goal, it’s surprising they knew where to return for the kick off. Once again where was our midfield. Norwich used a fairly good high press to pressure and win the ball, but we did nothing like that up the other end. Overall that performance was quite frankly an insult to our fantastic fans, who turn at home and away in huge numbers every week. We deserve much better than this. Lose against Sheffield Wednesday and Julien will surely be a goner. Nothing but a win in my opinion will be acceptable. I truly hope we can turn this around, and bring the pride back to Loftus Road. Sorry, rant over.

Cheers Clive, a very honest assessment of the match and the Xmas period in general. A difficult read and I’m sure difficult to write. A truly horrendous trilogy of match’s. You have often likened supporting QPR to being in an abusive relationship. That just when you are ready to give up on them they throw you a bone (Leicester) and promise things will different from now on. Then, they revert to type. I feel like that at the moment and after 50 years, I should know better. Even if they win by 5 tomorrow, Christmas has been tainted for me QPR wise. Of course if they win the next three, knocking out West Ham in the process…
