What are people hoping for/expecting before Monday at 5pm?
Personally I'm hoping Lillis goes out on loan or is sold, Don't think he's as bad as some suggest but he's clearly not in the Goalkeeping plans so best not to have a senior player sat in the stands.
I'd also like to see another defender, Centre back or left back or ideally a player who can cover both. Think it's the area we can be got at most, plus anytime Jim is asked to do anything that isn't strictly just defending he fills me with dread. Anytime he looks to play the ball out from the back, it seems like we are in danger. |  | | |  |

We should be in a strong enough position to turn down any bids. Sell on fees from Dawson and a cut of a ~50k gate vs United to share will mean the club isn’t skint.
Same want as always and easier said than done but someone who can score goals regularly at this level. If we start putting away chances when we’re bullying teams with 60-65% possession we’ll go far. |  | | |

If Lillis were to go I can’t see how BMM would not be tempted to address whatever area he feels will be most vulnerable in the weeks ahead. If pushed I would like a player with 100 plus league 1 and 2 games at left back under his belt.

Agree. Even a 1goal in 5 games striker who can hold it up would get 8-10 goals which would be a good back up for Hendo. I think our midfield will chip in more than last year too. |  | | |

I hope Lillis gets a move, he deserves to be somewhere he’s got a chance of playing. Plus it frees up a decent wage to be spent elsewhere.
I’d like to see us sign a forward. As has been said, that doesn’t necessarily mean a striker. If we look beyond the starting XI and ask where we’re lacking quality or an impact player, I think that’s a mobile forward.
Signing a left back would be a waste. RND is superb and looks as fit as a butchers dog. Yes, we’re relying on it staying that way, but we do have cover of sorts with Jim, Delaney, Done all having played there (albeit not great). At a push Keohane, McLaughlin or Matheson could play there. |  | | |
