If the allegations are true in respect to Mason Greenwood and this up to the GMP to decide after an investigation, then he should face court action and the full power of the law, because this type of behaviour is far too common and must be eradicated from our society.

This has gone on down the centuries but it's only mass media that's bringing the true scale to light, and lockdowns would've seen an increase too
There are no easy answers to this, and its not limited to any class, race, or even gender (obviously the vast majority of perpetrators are male, but not exclusively)

I would sincerely hope that there has been no attempt by his club to sweep this under the carpet in the period between it happening and it now being made public. There are some thinly veiled suggestions that this may be the case. God forbid.
Perhaps the young lady concerned felt that she had no other option but to go public in an effort to highlight the issue? This is potential dynamite if this were the case.
If it's true that GMP are investigating now, his comeuppance, if found guilty, may not be far away. Then again, there has always been the option to contact them before now.

If she doesn't assist the police with the investigations then they don't really have anything and it will go away.

Her family aren't backtracking at all. Her dad has said the Instagram post wasn't her doing, that's all. The abused generally sufffer in silence and protect the abuser don't they. Anyway, there's no denial from anyone so far of the verity of the stomach turning pics and sound clip.
Now her hand has been forced, she's given a statement to GMP and THEN he's been arrested. I very much doubt it's going away.
