Think he's a striker.

I did hear a few weeks ago that Hill was delighted to have been able to recruit this lad as great things are expected and other clubs* were queuing up to sign him.

It's also hard to believe he's still a teenager looking at the OS pic. I don't think I'm being rude when I say he looks older than half the first team do.

* Might be wrong on this but I think one of the big Manc clubs wanted him.**

If I remember correctly, Hilly mentioned him at the afternoon at the cricket club the other week, said he was unbelievably talented technique wise. Sounded optimistic he was one for the future.

I'm led to believe we couldn't officially sign him until the transfer window opened. I'd have thought we could have signed him before just not played him but by all accounts this is why this has been announced today.

All those years ago it was said that Joey T was "one for the future"........how right we are.
