Did anyone get the impression that defeat didn't quite hurt him enough?
This is not intended as a Hill bashing thread in any way. Just a thought and I wondered what others think. Look at the top managers in Football and champions in any sport. They've got to win. E.g. Sir Alex, Lewis Hamilton, MacEnroe, etc. By contrast I remember Keith saying that he was not embarrassed at the defeat by FCUM.

We all know that players offered new contracts have until 30th June to decide to sign or move on..
But surely in the past players offered new contracts some have signed before the date....
Also on the other foot a new player or two have indicated they are signing on aswell...
There is nothing eminating from the club at all if this is sign of things to come then its a long long season..

Bolton Wanderers' administrators identify preferred new owner
Bolton Wanderers will have a 12-point deduction applied next season as a result of going into administration
Bolton Wanderers' administrators have identified a preferred new owner to take over the League One club.
Final offers were received from five parties before Wednesday's 16:00 BST deadline.
The successful bid met the criteria outlined by the administrators, including proof of funds for the next two years and EFL approval.
Paul Appleton of administrators David Rubin & Partners hopes a heads of terms agreement will be signed by Friday.
The preferred bidder, who has been notified of their successful offer, has also agreed to inject £1m into the club in order to rebuild the playing squad.
"I am delighted we have been able to reach a more than satisfactory outcome to this stage of the process and I am confident the preferred bidder has the ability to take Bolton Wanderers forward," said Appleton.
"Until that (heads of terms agreement) has been signed, we are still bound by the confidentiality agreement within the process.
"But I can assure all Bolton Wanderers fans that the preferred bidder has both the financial ability and the determination to turn around the fortunes of this great football club."
Wanderers went into administration at the end of a tumultuous season which saw problems on and off the field, and culminated in relegation from the Championship.
A winding-up petition against the club over an unpaid tax bill was suspended by the High Court after the club went into administration, and an emergency food bank was set up to help out staff who had not been paid.
Bolton have also released a list of the 14 players that remain contracted to the club next season, including goalkeeper Ben Alnwick and Northern Ireland striker Josh Magennis.

Big win by the Aussies today. Not yet halfway through but already looking like a 5 horse race with NZ, Oz, India, England & WI's going for the 4 qualifying places. Huge game on Friday between us against the WIs , and with Afghanistan & Sri Lanka up next a win would set us up nicely. Wouldn't like to see us in 4th after 6 games with our last three being India, the Aussies & NZ
SA have choked earlier than normal & other than the game against us Pakisan seem to have lost their discipline. SL only have 4 points because of 2 washouts so I don't expect any of these 3 to challenge. Afghanistan & Bangladesh were always unlikely to challenge although the latter are always good for a shock
All in all a decent start to the tournament and I for one am happy it has not been the batters tournament as predicted. Let's hope for the weather to clear up & for some close matches over the next 5 weeks
