Match Thread: MK Dons vs Dale

Not good and it’s up to BBM and Lee Riley to sort it and quickly.

Not good enough last 3 away games by a considerable distance.

I think our management duo are on borrowed time and if not they should be.

As bad last 3 away games as it gets. Keoghan should be nowhere near a starting place in any lg1 side.

BBM body language is shocking hands on pockets and like a statue for the whole of the game.

Skinny jeans and cool demeanour is fine when you have a side who even if lacking in skill and pace show other battling qualities. Make no bones about this Dale are are poor side. No drive no bite no passion no stomach for the dirty stuff that gets a scrappy away draw or a performance that makes you proud. Pathetic for a good few weeks now Newcastle at home the rarely seen exception.

Time to step up Brian and get the basics sorted and quickly.

Huge game tomorrow and a chance to make it 6 wins in 6 v Accy - Bolton and MK.

A win just keeps us nicely ahead of the dreaded 21st spot.

Come on the Dale!

He did you are correct but it was 1992 before Logie (94 & 95 )

28 years ago time flys by.

Edit - apologies just checked and you are correct.

I didnt realise Gus Logie has had 4 seasons as Nordens pro either side of Cronje.

Logie was 87 89 94 & 95.

It has warmed and cooled you are 100% right but not warmed at this alarming rate.

It is going to take something extraordinary to get the global population to plateau out or even reduce.

Not wanting to doommonger but I do think in 100 -200 years there could be some real global issues to address and reacting now rather than knee jerk then is the way to go.

200 years a blink of an eye in terms of the earth and how long it’s first hosted living breathing creatures.

World leaders really need to step up now.

Fascinating stuff in Davos this week.

Capitalism v School girl eco warrior.

To be honest she has a point. All these trillions of dollars will be no use with no planet.

Global Population rising and fossil fuels running out. Massive push in the media now ref sustainability etc I just wonder if it’s too little to late. Not for our generation but any children born now there grandchildren will see a very different adult life. I am all for cutting back on meat eating and recycling and will go hybrid or electric with my next car.

Who do you think is closest to the truth Donald or Greta?

The lack of recognition that they are the architects of their own downfall is staggering.

Just read the first 20 pages of this thread.

Swanning about is too kind they lauded it up the whole time they bought promotion with other people’s money they had no intention of repaying.

It’s about time a club was made an example of and they just cannot accept they should have stopped the ride they squeeled on for 6 years or more.

The irony not lost that the OP is the biggest bell end!

Must be hard looking up how to get to all these new grounds in the depths of non league.

Best manager Dale have ever had.

Some of the best football ever seen at Spotland ( opinion )

Got us promoted twice ( Fact )

10 years close on he managed the Dale. Yes a change was needed and we evolve but your post is just crass and misguided.

Hill will always be welcome at Spotland and for that I am grateful and happy that everyone is not as pig ignorant as you.

Unbeaten in 3 this decade.

There are reasons we look like we have turned a small corner.

Bring on Newcastle let’s play with No Fear and give it everything we have got. Then back to league priorities on Saturday.

Your last line is interesting Judd I think that this is true and probably to do with Hills increased playing budget and then having to pay him off.

There is also the stadium purchase that we are still paying for which ultimately will stand is in better shape.

The better news is several cash injections since via player sales / sell on % and cup runs taking us to OT and now St James Park should see us with better cash in hand / cash flow this time next year.

It will be interesting to see just how big the loss in this trading period is.

Steve Taylor!

Now there was a striker who knew where the back of the net was!

How many goals did he get for the Dale TVOS? And his goals per game ratio?

Cup Draw
at 15:28 7 Jan 2020

Obvious school of thought is that we missed our chance last weekend.

The thing is we could have won and gone out in the 4th round at Spotland in front of 3800 and no TV.

At least as things stand we get another surprise cash windfall and still a chance of more TV cash.

I am just thinking its the 4th round away at Newcastle

Adult: £10
Under-18s: £5
Over-65s: £5
Students (with ID): £5
Disabled: £5

Attendance: 47,069

would rather see 47 069 watching the Dale at the above prices than 20 000 and the stadium less than half full.

Come on Dale lets pack the place hopefully at the cheaper prices.
