Back passing 18:37 - Jun 25 with 1190 views | I_would | Back to our old tricks, looks like it's cost us the game today. Ward Prowse and Hojbjerg again favouring back passes over attractive, bold and confident play. No chance of a result now.

Isn't that what we always do? We've got no midfield at all, that is the problem.

Same midfield that’s helped us win some tough away games. Most of the players look like they can’t be arsed so far.

Back passing on 18:54 - Jun 25 with 1096 views | TimSaint | After a good first 5 mins, we have slowly gone back into the usual rubbish we have become accustomed to at home in recent times. No urgency or drive, players going missing and content with passing it backwards and playing into the opposition's hands. Need 2 or 3 changes to freshen it up. Ralph needs to show us his intentions for the rest of the season.

Back passing on 18:59 - Jun 25 with 1078 views | 1885_SFC | Bar the keepers' f*ck up, it's all pretty dull. Arsenal look more of a threat & look likely to add another rather than us equalise. A couple of changes at HT to freshen things up would help. If we get out of this somehow with a point, I'd be chuffed to bits!. No crowd - but we're at home & the jinx/curse/hoodoo is still there. Same old same old same old...

Yes, big improvement on Valery. We could still get something out of this game. [Post edited 25 Jun 2020 19:26]

How we could use boufal or djenepo now Why does hojberg not possess a forward pass?

Back passing on 19:50 - Jun 25 with 924 views | I_would | 0-2 at home to the worst Arsenal team for 20 years, embarrassing. Ings is the only decent player.

Back passing on 19:51 - Jun 25 with 921 views | A1079 | Glad I did not get over excited because we managed to beat a poor Norwich. Thank God we did. We are truly awful at home and it is beyond bewildering. My comments are based on commentary only but it sounds like silly goal-keeping error, some good play by us but a bit toothless in the final third and then the sending off etc.

And another shoddy pass led to their second goal after Stephens was sent off after being put under pressure because of it.
Back passing on 22:58 - Jun 25 with 757 views | DorsetIan | Once they went 0-1, and bearing in mind what happened at Brighton, Arsenal shut up shop. They did it well and kept their shape. No matter who you are, it's very difficult to break through two lines of defenders, especially so when none of them are mugs. If there were back passes it was often because the route forward was blocked by a sea of yellow shirts. Had Arsenal not been gifted the lead, who knows what would have happened. And for what it's worth, that was one of the most stupid keeper mistakes I have ever seen. Absolutely laughable. He wasn't even under any pressure.
