2. Fraser at right-back. Quite the slap in the face for Sugawara.
3. Armstrong on his own up front again. This was a bit of a disaster against Wrexham and didn't work at all.
4. Manning on the bench. Actually surprised by this.

Hmm. Interesting line up. Very exciting midfield, potentially. Perhaps still is expecting a lot of clever balls into AA giving him gilt edge chances to score. I can only assume that by persisting with this set up, he is seeing something in training that seems not to transpose itself on to the match day pitch.
Not sure about Fraser being right side in that set up as he has shown before he cannot defend so well. Does this mean it will really be a back 3 and not 5?
Should be goals in this from us. Not sure how Ipswich will be as they have had the heart of their side ripped out of them and as yet have no decent replacements. This has to be viewed as a big chance to win a game at one of our potential promotion rivals. |  | | |

Based on the players we have available, that looks like good team selection to me, but, of course we still need to buy a decent centre forward. Hopefully, Dibling will come on as a sub and help win the game for us.

Well, at least he hasn’t selected Edwards, so there is evidence he is learning anyway. I think that back 3 is probably our strongest. Quarshie has looked the best of the bunch, but we have had a few (Salisu, Danso et al) who have looked great for the first few games, then faded badly. Given how much defensive work Fraser has put in, this is probably the right pick, I don’t think Sugawara has hit his stride this season. Maybe this kick up the bottom will help. I hope that Armstrong proves us all wrong, but he seems to be increasingly lost in games. |  |

Id just like to see a decent performance over 90 minutes. There's been moments so far but no clear pattern.
I don't know if we're genuine promotion contenders about to click into gear, or still a poor side who will be found out against the first decent side we play.
