This appointment has been an absolute disaster in terms of what they hoped to achieve and the results Jones has delivered. Leave aside Jones‘ odd personality, 7 defeats in 8 from that run of fixtures is criminal.

It was one of the most illogical appointments by a board of any Premiership club.
Even the most casual glance at Jones's record away from Luton should have put us off looking at him twice. Likewise a simple interview should have us back away. Any yet here we are.
I feel sorry for Jones. Its not his fault. He's just not very good. The plums that appointed him and will no doubt find his replacement are the real problem. |  |

Well hopefully we’ll go for a manger that fills in 3 boxes. He’s experienced in the prem, has managed teams before of our sorta size and quality and plays in the sorta way that will work well with the sorta players we’ve currently got.
As NJ came under none of those boxes, which is a major reason as to why he’s done soo poor here.
But still for me personally I’d wanna go for the likes of Neto or someone like that, as he did really well as wolves and would be the sorta guy to keep us up. |  |

Good question and debatable whether or not ankersen can see past his own ego, but for my money bielsa would be perfect for us. Genuinely believe it might not be too late if he were to come in + I’d have faith in him to do a rebuild for us and get us out of the championship if we do go down. Completely right, the spreadsheet wallys are the ones that need to take the blame, I also feel a little sorry for Jones. But it is completely the fault of those who appointed him, and the latest in a string of crap decisions they’ve overseen since coming into the club.
