Sick of all these unforced errors. Goals change games. 2-0 and semi cruising, then a gift and the mood changes, the tactics change and it's backs to the wall for 20 odd minutes. You could feel the little confidence we had drain instantly.
WTF was Baz doing for their goal ? Or that corner given away ? Or that drop in the 6 yard box ? (I do recall 1 decent save late on - but 1 that an international keeper should be making).

Completely agree, he has to be the worst keeper I've seen in a Saints shirt. And we have some strong contenders for that title.
We won't go anywhere with him in goal, he will just cost us too many points. I think a big part of the reason we didn't go up automatically last time was the number of errors he made that season. Since then, I have seen zero change or improvement which makes it absolutely baffling why we still haven't sorted out the keeper position. | | | |

Adam an Jo were very damming in their appraisal of Baz's performance. They went as far to say , that he chickened out of the challenge for their goal. They also said he looks really small in the goal (something ive said for years). He has no presence and really is stealing a living. |  |

We wouldn't have won last night with McCarthy in goal. He's worse than Bazunu. Of course, Ramsdale is better than both of them.
I certainly hope we don't see McCarthy return at St Mary's on Saturday, as we've only won 1 regular season game there with him in goal in four years. He's the worst goalkeeper I've ever seen play for Saints.
Stats last night:
QPR 20 shots at goal with 5 on target
Saints 9 shots at goal with 2 on target
QPR's goalkeeper didn't make a single save; Bazunu made 4.

We were all happy with Ramsdale, but I remember people saying on here that he was too good to be in the Championship so we needed to buy another goalkeeper, although I really have seen a few posters say McCarthy is good enough for the Championship, which he clearly isn't.
It was a terrible transfer window. We nearly all knew that our main priorities should have been to get a better goalkeeper and centre forward. Sport Republic brought in George Long and Damion Downs.
There was a remarkable stat given in a TV commentary on a Newcastle game: Saints' players made 19 errors leading directly to opposition goals last season, but Ramsdale didn't make even one. The same could never be said of Bazunu or McCarthy in any season. If Ramsdale would agree to leave Newcastle in January, it would be brilliant, but it seems unlikely. We need a new goalkeeper. We've been lucky with goalkeepers in the past. These two certainly are among the worst in Saints history. I can't argue with that. The stats don't lie.
When I first started going I recall John Budgie Burridge being in goal. He was solid. Nothing spectacular, but he didn't need to be. He had a very long career and was a right good character. |  |

If we are talking about Saints in recent years only, how about Paulo Gazzaniga & Angus Gunn for starters both not exactly convincing in their short spell with Saints.
