Basic procedure to have medical. It can be done elsewhere but usually at Club. Maybe he sneaked into Swansea for medical and we managed to keep it quiet. More likely Huw was on holidays at weekend with phone off, and forgot Arias was going on intentional duty. Could be a thing that personal terms are agreed and that a medical has also already been done. Could just be that a fee and how it is structured is all that is stopping it being completed. | |

I suspect most of our linked targets per media stories are BS. This one did seem to have some legs as links in early Summer. Also selling Kingsley without RB/LB cover would be madness. We'll find soon but it wouldn't be first Summer window where we're linked late with nunerous quality players and end up with rubbish or nothing. I have little trust left in Hiw as DOF. Hope I'm proven wrong but more likely to sell more players than buy. | | | |

I am glad that we have got rid off more players than we have bought. We had far too many players who were just not good enough and too large a squad. We will know by tomorrow evening if we have brought in enough quality. But I believe that we will end up with a better more balanced squad that will give us a higher finish than last season. |  | | |

I'm also glad that some of the dead wood is gone but I wouldn't class kinglsey as dead wood. He was a solid back up at LB and as it stands having Rangel as our only back up at full back is ridiculous. Imagine Olsson has a hamstring pull and Rangel has to step in for four weeks over the Christmas period! I think if we are lucky with injuries well finish higher than last season but there's no where near enough quality in this team to have a comfortable season. | | | |
