As far as Mesa goes, I'm not buying the "bad attitude/fitness" stuff doing the rounds. For me it's a simple case of not selecting a midfielder to set the tempo of the team until you're sure that he's up to that tempo himself. Would be easy for a lesser manager to feel the need to throw an £11m signing into the mix and hope for the best. Seems that Clement is made of smarter stuff. | |
