I enjoyed the first series having read the book and look forward to the forthcoming episodes of the next book which I also enjoyed reading.

Strike would be more believable if the young Afghan had shot that English soldier after he was blown up (for there to be a story with him having one leg he would need to survive I know but that bit was not very creditable, he could have been shot, left for dead and survived or just not have the scene of the Afghan walking up to him). |  |

Seen that Tin Star as well, her Irish and him an English policeman working for Queen and country how does that work when there is mention of her grandmother and her attitude towards the British (perhaps that will play out down the line).
The English policeman playing with peoples lives has echoes of what the police have disgracefully done in real life. | |
