Be no good for you then, you can't take you eyes off this forum for more than 30 seconds. You couldn't get to grips with Missing either And no matter what anyone says it'll have to pick up a hell of a lot after tonights show.

New Series on 06:49 - Aug 29 with 1636 views | Mo_Wives | Was it about the detective Cormoran Strike, Max? I read the books, they were OK, TBH. Nothing great, but passable. Didn't realise t was J.K Rowling until half way through the first one.

New Series on 07:53 - Aug 29 with 1595 views | pikeypaul | I've read the cuckoos calling written by Rowling under a pseudonym Robert Galbraith was this an adaptation ? I enjoyed the book although I think J K lives up her own rsole and her support for Gordon Brown shows how clueless she is politically, nice to see a leftie with a net worth of over £1 billion. So much for her socialist philosophy .

Yeah that's him, watched 2/3rds of it, but it didn't seem to be going anywhere and I was looking for some match sticks, hopefully it'll speed up and improve, I'd been out all afternoon though so perhaps that didn't help, full belly of grub and a few beers.

TBH, what works in a book does not always work on the TV. Often, as you point out, it's too slow.

I did get it but it as it just said "pitiful", I had no idea what it was referring to. Still, top marks for brevity.

New Series on 10:30 - Aug 29 with 1483 views | whoflungdung | Phil You don't seriously have custard down dare .? If you do, then surely it would be freshly made not from powder . Thankfully, the disgusting practice of me dear ol mum of covering crumble with Ideal Milk or ( worse) carnation Milk seems to have died off . If we meet up again I ll regale the times I spent at my nan s in Manor Rd when I used to sneak into her pantry ( not panties) and stick my finger in her tin of Blue Butterfly condensed milk ,which scousers call " conny onny". I was always one for sticking my fingers wherecI shouldn't .

Are you referring to crème anglaise? I usually make my own but there's always a decent substitute from Waitrose (made with Madagascan vanilla pods) if needed.

New Series on 11:01 - Aug 29 with 1451 views | WarwickHunt | Bird's custard originated in Swansea. Alfred Bird was a chemist in Port Tennant who came up with a powdered version for his wife who was allergic to eggs.
